Background

Nationwide Data Collection (NDC) has four regional offices in the UK comprising of a Scottish office located in Glasgow, a Northern office in Ossett, this office also houses our specialist video division. A Midlands office located in Warwick; our ATC division is based at this office. We also have a Southern office in Greenwich, London.

Staff

All Nationwide Data Collection (NDC) senior staff have extensive experience of transportation data collection and processing; the experience was gained from previous employment with other data collection companies or mainstream traffic and transportation consultants.

Managing Director

Gerard O’Regan

As Managing Director of NDC, Gerard has ultimate responsibility for all surveys undertaken in the UK and Ireland.

Gerard was previously a director of Count On Us (1995-2007) where he was responsible for the development of offices in the Midlands, Scotland and Ireland. Prior to joining Count On Us Gerard was Company Survey Manager for Faber Maunsell, now trading as AECOM (1984-1995) where he gained a wealth of survey project management experience both in the UK and overseas.

Paul Murray

Paul has direct responsibility for our operation in Ireland.

Paul previously worked for Project Centre Limited (1992 – 2001), a London based consultancy specialising in Traffic & Parking, Streetscape and Highways Design, where he had been Director of Parking; gaining a wealth of project management experience. He was Regional Director for Count On Us which he joined in 2001 to establish their office in Ireland. Paul joined NDC in 2008 to manage the Ireland office.
NDC Scotland & Northern office

Peter Rohwer

Peter has worked in the transportation data collection sector since 1998, he has vast experience in all forms of traffic monitoring.

Peter previously worked in Cape Town, South Africa, running traffic monitoring operations throughout the Western and Northern Cape, including both provincial and national government contracts. Peter joined NDC in 2018 to manage our Scotland office, his role has since expanded to include the Northern England office.
NDC Midlands office

Rhod Jones

Rhod Jones has undertaken traffic data collection of every description since 1999.

Rhod’s previous experience includes the logistical planning of all fieldwork survey activities. This includes the recruitment and training of temporary staff, survey design, implementation and supervision. Rhod is experienced in the use of electronic data capture techniques and their applications to traffic count surveys, roadside interview surveys, vehicle registration plate surveys and public transport surveys.

Damien Wilson Pulley

Damien has responsibility for surveys undertaken in London and the South East.

Damien began his career as Survey Manager at TecNecon (1993-1996) before joining Colin Buchanan & Partners with responsibility for developing a traffic survey capability which he successfully managed for 12 years (1996-2008). Damien then moved on to become Technical Manager at Vincent Knight Transport Research (2008-2012) successfully delivering major data collection projects in the London region before joining NDC.
